Pickup FC – Waiver and Liability Release Agreement

By participating in any pickup soccer game organized through Pickup FC, you (the "Participant") agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk:
   I understand and acknowledge that playing soccer, or participating in any other activity organized through Pickup FC, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, strain, or trauma. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with participation in these games and agree to engage in these activities at my own risk.

2. Waiver of Liability:
   I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, do hereby waive, release, and discharge Pickup FC, its organizers, volunteers, affiliates, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage I may suffer while participating in any pickup soccer games or activities organized through Pickup FC. This waiver applies to any injury, whether physical or psychological, caused by the negligence, active or passive, of Pickup FC or any related parties.

3. Medical Conditions and Fitness to Play:
   I confirm that I am physically capable of participating in soccer games and that I do not suffer from any medical conditions that would make such participation unsafe. I agree to immediately inform the organizers if I experience any discomfort, injury, or medical issues during a game.

4. Insurance:
   I acknowledge that Pickup FC does not provide insurance coverage for participants. It is my responsibility to maintain personal health and accident insurance to cover any injuries or health-related issues that may arise during participation in pickup soccer games.

5. Indemnification:
   I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pickup FC, its organizers, volunteers, affiliates, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, actions, or liabilities, including legal fees, resulting from my participation in these activities.

6. No Guarantee of Game Conditions:
   I acknowledge that Pickup FC is not responsible for the organization or conduct of the games beyond providing a platform for connection and information. The games are organized by the community, and Pickup FC makes no representations about the quality or safety of the events or the players involved.

7. Acknowledgment and Consent:
   By joining and participating in pickup soccer games, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Waiver and Liability Release Agreement. I understand that my participation is voluntary and that I may choose not to participate at any time.

8. Governing Law:
   This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Oregon.
